Businesses build up a surprising amount of stuff: broken chairs, spare desks, filing cabinets, shelving, old signage, display stands, stock that didn't sell, and boxes of cables. When you move premises, refit or hand back a lease, it all has to go, usually by a fixed date.
Commercial jobs we can help with
- Office furniture and fit-out removal at the end of a lease
- Warehouse and storage unit clear-outs, including pallets and racking
- Retail shop clean-outs, including fixtures and old stock
- E-waste such as monitors, printers and old computers, which many operators take to recyclers
Planning a commercial clean-out
Check building rules first. Many commercial buildings need loading dock or lift bookings and certificates of currency for public liability insurance, so ask your building manager and pass it on to the crew. After-hours or weekend work is common in busy buildings. Industrial areas like Ingleburn, Prestons and Smeaton Grange are usually easier, with roller doors and truck access.
Data and documents
Remove or securely wipe hard drives before computers leave the building, and use a document destruction service for confidential paperwork. A rubbish crew isn't a substitute for secure destruction.
Frequently asked questions
Can the crew work after hours?
Often, yes. Many commercial clean-outs happen early, late or on weekends. Ask when they call.
Do you provide insurance certificates?
Insurance is held by the operator who does the work. If your building needs a certificate of currency, ask the crew to supply it before the job.
Will you take e-waste?
Many operators do and take it to recyclers. Wipe or remove data storage first.
